Hospitality at its finest! I was next door at Austin Karaoke for a birthday and urgently needed utensils for the cake. The karaoke spot didn’t have any, so I took a chance and walked in, “Pocha is Back,” and asked for help. To my surprise, they gave us as many chopsticks as we could possibly need. While chopsticks aren’t the most ideal choice for a birthday cake, it was their genuine intention to assist an ostensibly non-customer. Although I ended up buying three bottles of soju to return the favor, it was their unwavering willingness to help that truly impressed me. The staff at this place is incredible, and I would happily dine here anytime.

Bossam and corn were delicious. Wings tasted like cinnamon, which I didn't really like. Also, during the day, it would be nice if the music wasn't so loud.

As a newcomer to the area, I was eager to explore the local culinary scene, particularly for Korean cuisine, which I hold in high regard. After looking around online I found Pocha is Back, I decided to give it a try, hoping for an authentic experience that would satisfy my cravings. Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, adorned with typical Korean pub decor. The seating was comfortable, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, and while the service was fine overall, I was hoping for a bit more guidance on the menu, especially for someone unfamiliar with certain dishes. After browsing through the offerings, I settled on two dishes: the galbi and the mussel stew. Both sounded promising, and I anticipated a delightful meal that would introduce me to the nuances of Korean flavors. Unfortunately, the galbi left much to be desired. While it was visually appealing, the seasoning was lackluster. It felt reminiscent of the prepackaged galbi one might find at a H-Mart rather than a freshly marinated dish crafted with care. **UPDATED*** I have kept coming here every now and then when it’s late and I’m craving some comforting food! I love their chicken katsu and their Cheesy rice cake set combo, they’re super delicious and great for groups! If you haven’t yet, stop by today. Pocha is Back is one my fav go-to late night grub! The staff is very welcoming and attentive and the food is always delicious! This was my introduction to Korean food and I’m so grateful I found this gem! If you’re in town be sure to check this place out!!! You won’t regret it. Keep up the great work!

Saw this place on TikTok and knew I had to try it! It was such an amazing and authentic experience, place was clean,service was nice, food was tasty! I loved the decorations and how they had K-pop playing !!! If you are part of the k- wave you have to give this place a chance ! I know I’ll be back !
